Mark A. Schroeder

Mark is the Chairman and CEO of German American Bancorp, Inc., as well as the vice chairman of the board of members of the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. He has also served on the boards of directors of the Independent Community Bankers of America, the national trade association for community banking and on the Indiana Bankers Association. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in financial management from the University of Evansville and holds a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license from the State of Indiana. Mark graduated from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the ABA Commercial Lending Graduate School.

Clay W. Ewing, President, almost 40 years of commercial banking experience, with the past twenty-five years with the Company. He has held executive officer positions with management responsibilities in his current functional area of responsibility for the Company for the last eighteen years. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Indiana Bankers Association.

Randall L. Braun

Mr. Braun currently serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Retail Banking & Development Officer. He joined the Company in November 2011 and before that spent over 20 years with Fifth Third Bank. Prior to 2009, Mr. Braun served as Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker for Fifth Third at a location in Southern Indiana and then from 2009 through 2011 served in a similar capacity at a South Florida Fifth Third location.

D. Neil Dauby

Mr. Dauby serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer. He holds a certified public accountant designation, joined German American in 2001, following a 15-year career in public accounting. He previously served as president of one of German American's community banking subsidiaries.

Mr. Leinenbach, Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer has over 30 years of commercial banking experience, served as Chief Credit Officer of the Company since January 2012 and before that spent over 11 years with German American as a Regional Commercial Credit Officer and a Commercial Banking Officer.

U. Butch Klem
Lead Director

Butch is President and CEO of U.B. Klem Furniture Company, located southeast of Jasper, Indiana. He founded the company, specializing in restaurant furniture manufacturing for a variety of national franchisors, in 1973. Butch has received Indiana’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in manufacturing.

Christina Miller Ernst

Chris is the Chairman and CEO of Miller Construction Company, Inc., a third generation family business in Vincennes, Indiana, specializing in the building and maintenance of high voltage power lines for midwestern utility companies. A founding member of Knox County Community Foundation, she serves as vice chairman of the Vincennes University Foundation Board of Directors and has received the Torchbearer award from the State of Indiana. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from Indiana University.

Marc D. Fine

Marc, who was a founding director of American Community Bancorp, Inc., has practiced law in Evansville, Indiana since 1984. He was a founding partner of the law firm of Rudolph, Fine, Porter & Johnson, LLP (1987-2014) and is now a member of the Executive Committee of Jackson Kelly PLLC. Marc is active in many civic and community organizations in Evansville.

J. David Lett

As a partner of Lett and Jones Attorneys at Law, Dave serves Loogootee and Martin County, Indiana with his law practice while being involved in a variety of community groups. He also serves as a part-time deputy prosecuting attorney for Daviess County, Indiana. Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin College and a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

Christopher A. Ramsey

Chris, who is president of Ramsey Development Corporation of Tell City, Indiana, is the owner of several businesses in the construction and real estate industry. He has been engaged in real estate development for more than 30 years. Chris previously served on several other bank boards in southern Indiana, and is involved in various civic and professional organizations at the local, state, and national level.

M. Darren Root
Darren is president and founding member of Root & Associates, a Bloomington, Indiana-based accounting firm, and CEO of RootWorks, a membership-based consulting firm dedicated to educating small and mid-size accounting firms on technology, practice management, marketing, branding and more. Mr. Root holds CPA, CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional), and CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) credentials.
Thomas W. Seger

Tom is Vice President of Wabash Valley Produce and President of Simple Transportation, both located in Dubois, Indiana. He serves on the boards of Brown Produce Company in Farina, Illinois, and Ballas Egg Products in Zanesville, Ohio, and he shares ownership in Farbest Foods, Huntingburg, Indiana, and JFS Milling, Dubois, Indiana. Tom is also a board member and treasurer of Patoka Valley Health Care Cooperative.

Raymond W. Snowden
Mr. Snowden is the Board Chairperson at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana. He joined the Hospital’s staff in 1981 and served in many roles, including President and CEO, prior to being name Board Chairperson. Mr. Snowden holds bachelor’s degrees in education and pharmacy and a master’s degree in health service administration. He currently serves as a Board member for the Vincennes University-Jasper Campus Foundation, and Welborn Baptist Foundation in Evansville. He has served as a member of GAB East Regional Advisory Board since 2005 and is active in many civic and community organizations in Jasper.
Lonnie D. Collins

Lonnie D. Collins practiced real estate law, corporate law and estate planning as an attorney in the Madison market area for over 35 years, retiring from such practice in 2013. He served on the River Valley Board of Directors and as its Secretary for over 31 years.

Zachary W. Bawel
After Graduating from Indiana University’s School of Business in 1987 with a BS in Finance, Zach started with Jasper Engines & Transmissions in their sales training program. In his 31 years with Jasper, he held positions throughout the sales and distribution side of the business and was VP of Sales for 12 years before becoming President/COO in 2011. He is a member of the company’s Executive Committee and serves on Jasper Engines & Transmissions Board of Directors. Jasper Engines & Transmissions is the nation’s largest remanufacturer of Drivetrain components. He also serves on WireCrafters Advisory Board, they are the nation's leading manufacturer of woven and welded wire partitions & other related material handling products.
